Flitch house

A new timber and glazed addition, with recycled brick abutments.

Pond Road

We were asked by the Client to look at expanding the family home and bringing more light into the spaces. We are proposing a new glazed pavilion which touches the existing house lightly, a floating sedum roof frames the view to the garden.
A glazed snug and study area sit against a stone fireplace which also supports the roof.

Basu residence

The Basu residence is a holistic conversion and update of an existing Victorian Terraced house is London.

Millenium Drive

This project involves new additions, internal refurbishments and glazing alterations to a penthouse apartment on top of a block overlooking the Dome.

Williams residence

We have been commissioned to design a new house on a sloped site overlooking the estuary in Leigh-on-Sea.

The Vinery

The Vinery is a new build sustainable house project in Hampstead.

The site is a sloping plot adjacent to Hampstead Heath. We have proposed a part sunken house split into two forms; private and public separated by a garden courtyard. Timber and glass bridges link the two parts of the house with a glazed enclosure dropping light to the bottom of the plan.

Thread House

Thread House is a new project connecting an upper ground floor and lower ground floor flat, in a Victorian terraced house in residential Putney, London. The concept developed from the idea of enveloping and uniting the two separate dwellings into one modern, family home.

Veil House

Veil House is a new two bedroom house in Camden, London, which is currently being prepared for planning.

Kempton Rooftop

The Kempton rooftop project is a new addition to a mansion block in Highgate, London. The new rooftop extension is formed by an external folded zinc clad element, with a rich timber interior. Flush slot fenestration with clear and translucent glazing allows light to penetrate the space.

We were asked by Christine and Matt Frost to be architects for this project in June 2009. Our brief was to design a new, sustainable house on a beautiful sloping site in Tunbridge Wells. The brief included four bedrooms, living spaces, kitchen, study and a recreation room.
