The proposal is an early feasibility study for a series of new residential forms along a thin brownfield site that sits between the terrace of house along pinner road and the trainline adjacent. The site has several constraints and opportunities that range from badger setts, dense landscape and planting, and a steep changing topography, along with the noise from the train line and overlooking to the terrace of houses.
The proposal seeks to create a landscape led scheme with separate blocks along the route from one end of the site to the other, at the eastern end we propose a brick building which creates a new street frontage and to the west a new gate house building that allows for access underneath. Each building will have a textural brick cladding and green roofs.
